If Your Alarm Clock had eyes, it could see how you sleep,
who you sleep with, what you do when you sleep, if you have nightmares, if you
snore, toss and turn, hog the bed, or fill up the room with foul fumes passing from
your body to and through your bed.
Only if your alarm clock had eyes.
But if your alarm clock had a brain; it would know the
person you are. Do you wake up acceptingly when it announces the day, or do you punish and
batter the clock by smashing it repeatedly to snooze? Or do you wake up moments before the alarm is about to do
its job to face the day head on.
Indeed, the clock knows that there are three kinds of people in the
world: those that fight every moment of every day to do the least amount of
anything to get through; those who accept the tasks and challenges impassively
like automatons; and those who face the day positively celebrating every moment as a gift of life.
If your clock had eyes and a brain, it would indeed know a
lot more about you than most anyone or anything else in the world….your bed partner, your family
and even your facebook friends.
