The Easa Family History - from sister Widad

Two of my sisters.  Sue on the left and the author of this
short intro, Widad who is 83 years old
I am writing a memoir for my brother regarding our family history. My name is Widad George I was born to Jaber and Maria EASA in Ramallah, Jordan in the Middle East.  I have two living sisters and a brother out of 11 children my mother had, most of whom died.  My father migrated to the States at a young age to make money for his family. He came back and married my mom. He was 27; she 16. My sisters and I (Dave wasn't born yet) lived in Ramallah, Jordan (also known as Palestine) 8 miles north of Jerusalem in a four family home. My grandparents lived in one apartment  and the other apartments were rented out.We had a great uncle who was Mayor of the town. He had a linen and dry goods business. He gave us girls clothes and gifts. He and his wife had no kids and treated us like theirs.  My father was in the States alot and the generosity of my uncle was unforgettable.  We loved him.  More to come later.......
